Office Ergonomics: 10 Tips for Proper Desk Posture

  • Neck – neutral
  • Shoulders – relaxed with elbows bent at 90-110 deg.
  • Wrists – neutral
  • Low Back – supported to ensure a small lumbar arch
  • Hips – flexed at 90-110 deg.
  • Knees – flexed 90 deg.
  • Feet – flat on the floor or on foot stool
  • Monitor – top of screen even with eye level looking straight ahead
  • Keyboard & Mouse – on same level together
  • Chair – fully adjustable to allow for all these accommodations listed above
